Stop copy-pasting into ChatGPT: the 4-block pattern

Automate customer-feedback triage in Make: each new form response is read by AI, sorted, logged, and routed. Problems go to a Slack alert, praise becomes a thank-you draft, requests land in a list.

What you’ll build

A feedback workflow built on the 4-block pattern, which you can reuse for almost anything:

  1. Trigger: Google Sheets watches for new rows from a Google Form.
  2. AI step: OpenAI reads one response and answers one narrow question, in the same JSON format every time (category, summary, reply). The result is written back to the sheet.
  3. Router: picks a path from the category: problem, praise or request.
  4. Actions: problems → a Slack alert to your team; praise → a Gmail thank-you draft; requests → a row on a Requests tab.

The example in the video is Maya, a fictional owner of a small home-cleaning company who used to paste every feedback comment into ChatGPT by hand.

Who it’s for

Anyone who catches themselves copying text into ChatGPT, waiting, and pasting the answer somewhere else. If you collect customer feedback with a form, you can build this exact version; the pattern also works for other inputs.
